Our Vision

Tuul Luna ecotours was born from the idea that ecotourism could use a boost here in Yucatan. At Tuul Luna we keep our ecological footprint small by, among other things, the use of sustainable packaging and by providing easily biodegradable products. We strive for more animal welfare and say absolutely no to cooperatives with dolphinariums.

In our vision, it is also important to support the local population. We like to work with local guides and buy fresh products from here from the locals. We offer high-quality excursions with great attention to detail. We go on tour with small groups for a more personalized service. With Tuul Luna we want to reach an audience looking for an authentic experience, people with an interest in nature, culture and the people of Mexico.

My story

Hola sweet traveler! My name is Steffie. When I was barely 18 months old, my life took a turn for the better when I took my first plane from India to Belgium: I was adopted by my loving Belgian parents!

At age 21 I started to work and live abroad. I lived in Mallorca, Crete, Kos, Tunisia, Egypt, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Since 2006 Mexico has become my home, a beautiful country that has so much to offer. Along the way, I learned 6 languages and became a certified* guide with more than 10 years of experience around the Yucatan peninsula.

In 2018, I decided to follow my own path and Tuul Luna Ecotours was created.
